Terms of Participation

1. All texts and communications must comply with basic decency. In particular, we do not allow excessive rudeness, player harassment, sexual explicitness, hate propaganda and unsolicited advertising. Violators will be expelled and their texts removed from the game.
2. All in-game texts and communications should stay within the spirit of the game. In particular, we wish to discourage off-topic references or modern terminology. Texts submitted for describing game components must be accurate and fit into their cultural setting. They may not be overly laudatory. We reserve the right to edit or reject any texts with content we consider unfit. Persistent violators may be expelled.
3. Cheating, spamming and hacking are forbidden. Anyone doing such will be immediately and permanently removed from all games. Purposely exploiting a program bug or a flawed feature will be considered cheating. Generating unnecessarily large amounts of data will be considered spamming. Attempting to gain passwords from other players, attempting to gain entry or control over the system, attempting to overload the system, or putting in non-standard script codes will be considered hacking. In severe cases of hacking we will notify the authorities.
4. Game turns will only be sent out if the your account balance is in order. If not, we will send a notification and withold all your turns in all games until it is. If the account is not back in order within two months after the first notification we will remove all your game components and texts.
5. We reserve the right to change or remove any rule or feature of the game world that we consider a flaw.
6. We will not react to whining about how "unfair" the game is. You might suffer from injustice, outlaws, or sheer bad luck while others "easily" gain power and wealth. This is how it is in reality. Deal with it. If you have a valid customer complaint though, such as a program malfunction, we will gladly correct the issue.
7. Change of Fees. Games fees will occasionally change to fluctations in the US Dollar to Euro exchange rate. We will notify you when this occurs.
8. Limitation of Liability for CJ Games. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither CJ Games nor any of it affiliates, directors or employees will be liable for damages in connection with participation in the game of Mysticora or its web-site. This applies to all damages of any kind including direct, indirect or consequential damages.
9. Variation of the Terms of Participation. These Terms of Participation may be amended by CJ Games upon its sole discretion at any time and these modifications will apply to you when you use any service of CJ Games including participation in the game of Mysticora. Any such amendments will be posted to this page, and it is your responsibility to review this page from time to time for such amendments.
10. Severance. If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid, such invalidity will not affect the remaining parts.
11. Governing Law. These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted, construed, and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. You hereby irrevocably consent and submit to the nonexclusive personal jurisdiction of the courts within the Federal Republic of Germany for the purposes of litigating any such action.
